lyrics

I wake up bruised on a wreck of a plane
Bone sticking out from the side of my arm
Blood everywhere, I hear growls outside
Silently I climb from the wreck and watch in fear

Strangers surround me, spears in their hands
I get a glance at their blood red eyes
Necklaces made from bones hanging from their necks
A dozen of them staring at me, I’d better fucking run

I run through the jungle, look back, they’re following me
There’s no way to outrun them, I’d better hide
Into a dark cave I crawl, look back, they ran past me
Deeper in the cave I go, searching for the others

Deeper down I found the others, well what’s left of them
Piles of bones, clothes, rotting flesh and an awful stench
Is this some kind of a joke, or pure reality?
Someone heading my way, is this the end of me?

Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
Drenched in fear, I prepare to fight
Waiting in the dark, with a bone knife
A stab in the neck, blood spurting far

I look in her eyes as she falls
She was of my kind, what have I done?
A crack behind me, a stab through my chest
Blood flows on my shirt as I pass out

I wake up in a foreign place
Locked like an animal in a cage
Manage to break the lock and sneak out
While they’re having their feast
Half-eaten bodies fill up the scene
I don’t know if this is a dream
What god-forsaken land have I fallen upon?
Someone please save me from this nightmare...

I find more of my kind around a fire
I watch them closely, eating their friend
Silently I attack, one by one they fall
A man on the ground, begging for mercy

I cut a part of him, starving
There’s no other choice
I look around and natives arrive
They welcome me with open arms, I have become one of them
